It’s unbelievable the difference in the shedding. We can now have our kitties back in our home, full-time, without the terrible hair issues we were having before.

Your staff was friendly, very very helpful and encouraging when I dropped them off and spent the entire day taking care of them with the most amazing results! We’ve been associated with you and your very professional staff for over 10 yrs. Not even once have we ever been disappointed in the care that the dogs receive. The excellent grooming is a reflection of the staffs caring attitude towards all the dogs that come through the doors of Bow Wow Boutique.

Your recent addition of the PlaqClnz treatment on Frank was a long overdue health bonus for him. A heart felt thanks from us. We use the PlaqClnz gel daily on both the dogs. WHAT A DIFFERENCE.

A few weeks ago, a friend who owns a pet grooming business named “Bow Wow Boutique” in Crystal River, mentioned something I was a bit skeptical about. She explained a new procedure for cleaning the plaque from canine teeth, without anesthesia....and without a big vet bill. A few days later she sent me an attachment on an email. The picture was worth a thousand words. It actually showed the plaque that was removed from a dog’s teeth during this painless procedure. I couldn’t believe the “stuff” that dropped off the teeth, onto a towel. When I asked for some more information, I learned that the cost was a very reasonable 12 dollars. Since I have 6 rescue dogs, most of them over the age of 6, I thought I’d “experiment” with one of them. I know that over the years, dental problems can cause systemic infections and digestion problems, as well as generally poor health affecting their different organs. My “experiment” was my little Shi-tzu, Rocky, about 7 years old.....not an easy guy to handle. His teeth were in very poor shape, as is true of so many dogs from irresponsible breeders. They were full of thick plaque.

I dropped him off, reluctantly, since he’s not used to having me out of sight. A couple other friends were there with their pets. From the very first, I knew that this staff, Angela who owns the Bow Wow, and 2 other staff, knew exactly what they were doing. The way they handle the animals.... and the very nervous “mothers”.... shows sensitivity to the animals and necessary firmness to the “mothers”.

After telling us to “go have lunch or something” we left for a couple of hours, feeling confident that our babies were in good hands. When we went back to pick up our “kids” we were proudly shown their snowy white teeth, all the way back to the farthest molars. The dogs were happy and we were amazed. It’s still hard to figure out how this gel and a water pic...and sometimes a dental pick...result in such wonders. But their teeth are clean, their moods are happy, and the “owners” still have some money to spend on lunch.

I was so pleased that I decided to take 2 more of my timid canine “kids” a week later. I was still completely impressed. Their teeth were clean as a whistle and they were not freaked out from the procedure. I have 3 more to go. I’m very grateful to have this safe and very affordable opportunity to keep them all in better health.
